TCG’s Annual Gala and Fundraiser
The Gala serves as TCG's annual fundraiser to support our vital programs and services to the theatre community. The event brings together people from the both commercial and non-profit sectors including artists, producers, funders, and more.
Save-the-Date: TCG’s Gala is on February 4, 2019 at The Edison Ballroom in NYC.
The 2017 Gala included a special performance by: John Dossett and Chris Hoch performing a song from War Paint. Samuel E. Wright, who played the part of Mufasa in the original cast of The Lion King on Broadway, also celebrating 20 years this year, performed songs from his repertoire. Honorees included: the creative team of War Paint, Book Writer Doug Wright, Composer Scott Frankel, Lyricist Michael Korie, Director Michael Greif. And, the National Council for the American Theatre, trustees from around the country who have shaped their communities and influenced the national theatre landscape.
